Normal Days

Sometimes it can seem like our life is one big vacation.

But most days for us are pretty normal. We work, we read, we do school work, we eat, we do laundry, we drink wine (well, Don and I do!).

But as much as we can, we find new places to explore. I think because we have such a finite time in each place, we are more intentional to research new spots to visit as much as possible. Mostly, outdoor places, that’s what we love.

We’re not super-touristy types, so some of the best memories we have in a place are just playing at a park or running around a lake, doing the simple things together, making fun for ourselves. Geocaching, though, somehow makes its way into the “normal” aspect of our family life. Those caches are everywhere to be found!

Here are some photos from some of our more “normal” days. One Saturday morning, the power even went out, so we played LIFE for the first time in the dark with our camp lanterns, and then the kids played LEGOS by the light of the window while Don headed out to work.
