Our kids are most precious to us as parents, and it can be challenging trying to figure out how to launch them and prepare them for the marketplace of the future.
The world has changed dramatically, and the “old rules” do not apply. It is not necessarily about being a good boy or girl, getting good grades and the right degree and finding a secure corporate job. That model is an artifact of an age gone by.
This seminar is for parents and kids who want to get more strategic about their future in the workplace. Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- How work is done today
- What it means to be in the new economy
- What should we focus on in our schooling?
- Why entrepreneurship is more sensible than ever
- The critical skills to thrive today
- How technology needs to be a part of every kid’s life
These are topics I speak and write about with business professionals around the country and will share to help our future generation have context and thrive in the new economy.
