For my wonderful friend Heather’s birthday, we all took a trip to Alcatraz together! We rode the Ferry over, heard some great escape attempt stories from the Park Ranger, and learned much from the audio tour as we explored the island, The Rock.

We all talked about if we’d have tried to attempt an escape and how we’d do it!

Afterwards, we swept her kids away for a sleepover, while she and her husband enjoyed a Napa Valley Wine tour for a couple nights. Fun times for all!
